Location: Hyderabad. Work-from-home arrangements may be considered and agreed later. Local candidates are preferred.
Yaaber is a mobile-first social product spanning content, live conversations, messaging, audio and video, group calls, reels and news, alongside the organisation Companion. This role works with the existing product and codebase.
Must have
- Mobile and responsive-web product design, accessible interaction patterns, user journeys and interactive prototypes.
- Developer-ready specifications, responsive and interaction states, and practical design-system experience.
- Proficiency in Figma or an equivalent design tool, with a portfolio that clearly explains your own contributions.
Main responsibilities
- Simplify key journeys and create slim, consistent layouts across mobile and desktop.
- Specify loading, empty, error and success states alongside primary interactions.
- Maintain reusable components and review implementation with engineers.
- Improve the established interface through focused changes rather than assuming a wholesale redesign.
Useful additional experience
Social or messaging products, audio/video interfaces, usability testing and experience improving an established product.
